My right hand trapezium bone is no longer trapezoidal since half of it was
removed in a wrist operation.
Can I continue playing a trapezoid with only half a trapezium ?! Is this
why I am now (for the moment) suddenly playing with European style hammers
(thanks to Bob Bedard!)?! Is my brain addled???!!!
Tales of trapezoids gone wrong and other horrors.....

However, happily - yes, you CAN play a trapezoidal instrument even if you
only have half a trapezium. And there's always thumbjam on the iphone with
Wes Chappell's HD sampled :-) for everyone else! But my HD has a few new
scratches form putting the dulcimer on and off the stand while in a cast.
