Yep.....I agree with you, Paul. Most of the time I do not open or download those messages. For one thing, it's too much bother; and another is the concern you've expressed. I hope my messages do not show up as an attachment because that is not my intention.

All,

I have noticed lately that a lot of recent Emails are blank, with an
attached *.eml file.  Apparently, the intent is to attach an Email
instead of quoting or forwarding it but I wonder how many people will
know what to do with an *.eml file.... if they even notice it.

Also, as a rule I don't open attachments unless they are clearly
harmless.  I did open the one from Ken, just to see what exactly it was
but since I am not 100% sure that *.eml files are harmless under all
circumstances, I generally don't open them either.

I would suggest we return to the safer method of simply quoting or
pasting the contents of an Email we want to forward to the list?
