Just put some April Fool’s Day tunes up on the Kitchen Musician website http://www.kitchenmusician.net

Including Arkansas Traveler with the 1800s stage comedy lines, should you ever want to perform it.

“Does this road go to Little Rock?”  “I’ve lived here 40 years and that road hasn’t moved once.”  ANd so on.

Also, “Landlady of France” - aka “Brandy O” with lyrics.  “So they kept their spirits up by pouring spirits down”

And a turn of the 19th century Irish comedy stage song, “Mr. Grimgruffinhoff”, who has two jobs.  He’s jailer and a marriage counselor, and you can see where this is going.

Plus the set of fiddle tunes with introductions from John Philip Sousa marches and other well known marches.  Mixand match as you will.

Maynard Johnson
