What about hitting your hammers on your dulcimer to get the sound?

For those interested in such things, I have put up a list of âspookyâ tunes for Halloween on the Kitchen Musician website Â

Another good tune would be the theme for the old TV comedy, The Addams Family. However, it is copyrighted, so I will not touch it for the website. It would also be hard to play on hammered dulcimer, unless you can snap your fingers without dropping your hammers.
