I have one similar to the one Sharon Day bought only hers is PINK and mine is just plain black. Label on mine says Cosco 37827BLK1. I found it at WalMart about 3 years ago. Front edge of chair is 17.5 inches from floor. While I cannot find that one online anymore, there are several others very similarâall light weight and easy to carry. Frame is black metal, and seat and back are a hard plastic.
Meijer website is useless - no search feature.
Some of the nicer chairs have padded seats and backs, but unfortunately seem to be sold in sets of four. Hint hint - find a few friends! Check the Staples.com website, folding chairs, then scroll down to the Sudden Comfort, NPS, and Flash Furniture models. You may not have Staples in your area but you can get an idea of what might work. K-Mart website also shows decent folding chairs. Cosco shows several of theirs available at DoItBest hardware, HomeDepot, TrueValue hardware, Ace Hardware, and Cost U Less.
I generally take a folding stool along, no back but has slip-over padded cushion, so I can change back and forth. Happy hunting.
