Subject: [HD] Ashokan, Civil Was

As I was corrected:
"Ashokans Farewell Is not a civil war song , It was written in about 1988 In upstate New York For the farewell song of the end of a music week. Put on By Ken Burns."

I realize that Ashokan Farewell was written by Jay Unger and is not a Civil War song, but the couple for whom I am playing have watched the PBS Civil War Series on DVD several times and as you might not know, Ashokan Farewell was played throughout the series.  Thus, many connect the two.  It is their wedding and their choice.  I shall not argue the correctness of their choice.
