A roll around dinner table like those used in hospitals for meals to bed ridden people would allow a clear area under the table. The dulcimer could be tilted on the flat table top with a short table leg in the back threaded hole of the dulcimer. New/used medical supply places have these in larger cities. Correct playong height would be a combination of table and chair heights.

Hi Everyone.

I have a lovely lady that I talked with just today that wants to play the HD before she passes on. She's in a reclining type chair most of the time and her legs are extended out in front. Obviously a traditional x-braced stand won't work for her so I was thinking someone one this email list might have a suggestion for me to let her know about. She can only sit in the traditional style for about 15 minutes at a time. The rest of the time she's in a slight reclined fashion.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts and ideas. Have a great weekend.
