I just uploaded a website I've been working on for a while.  It contains 
recordings of dulcimer players I made from about 1971 to 1981, in Michigan, 
Ontario, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, West Virginia, and Tennessee, plus dubs 
of earlier recordings I made.  In this website I tried to focus on what I think 
was the usual dulcimer style in the "Inland North," meaning the Lower Great 
Lakes or the region roughly from a line between Watertown, NY, and 
Williamsport, PA, running westward, through the northern tier of Ohio, into the 
Lower Peninsula of Michigan, into northwest Indiana, then into central 
Wisconsin and northern Iowa.  I've also put recordings of a lot of Michigan 
fiddlers made in this period, plus quite a few songs, including ballads and 
bawdy songs.  I have a few minor things to fix and to add, but basically the 
site is done.  It's at:  http://www.giffordmusic.net. ; I'd be happy to discuss 
anything relating to the site here, although I'm
 working on adding a "comments" box.
